These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KalpYatra.com, including all travel assistance services, pilgrimage planning, enquiries, bookings, destination information, and related offerings provided by KalpYatra ("we," "our," or "us").
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, making a booking, or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of our website and services.
1. Scope of Services
KalpYatra provides pilgrimage travel information, destination guidance, itinerary planning, travel assistance, booking support, pilgrimage coordination, and related services.

2. Booking and Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by KalpYatra and/or the relevant service providers.

A minimum advance payment may be required to confirm a booking.

The balance payment must be completed within the timeline communicated at the time of booking.

Bookings shall be considered confirmed only after:

Receipt of required payments;

Submission of required documentation; and

Issuance of written confirmation by KalpYatra or the relevant service provider.

For group tours and special pilgrimages (including but not limited to Char Dham, Kailash Mansarovar, Amarnath, and similar journeys), operations may be subject to minimum participation requirements.
KalpYatra reserves the right to cancel or reschedule such departures if minimum participation requirements are not met.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

Provide valid contact details.

Provide valid identification documents when required.

Disclose any special travel requirements.

Review travel requirements before departure.

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and pilgrimage requirements.
Any losses arising from incorrect information provided by the traveler shall be the sole responsibility of the traveler.
4. Travel Documents and Permits
Travelers are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying:

Government permits

Pilgrimage registrations

Medical certificates (where required)
While KalpYatra may assist in obtaining such documentation, we do not guarantee approval, issuance, or processing timelines.
KalpYatra shall not be liable for delays, rejections, or losses resulting from incomplete documentation or permit denials.
5. Pricing and Payments
All pricing is subject to availability and may change until final booking confirmation.
Prices may vary due to:

Pilgrimage registration charges
Payments may be made through approved payment methods communicated by KalpYatra.

Additional services including travel insurance, porter services, helicopter bookings, special darshan arrangements, or premium services may be charged separately unless specifically included in writing.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through email or other approved communication channels.

Published itineraries are indicative and may be modified due to:

KalpYatra reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to itineraries without prior notice when necessary for operational, safety, or regulatory reasons.
8. Fitness and Health
Certain pilgrimages may involve:

Physical exertion
Travelers are responsible for assessing their fitness and medical suitability for the selected journey.
KalpYatra strongly recommends consulting a qualified medical professional before participating in physically demanding pilgrimages.
KalpYatra shall not be responsible for medical complications, injuries, illnesses, or health-related incidents occurring during travel.
9. Travel Insurance
KalpYatra strongly recommends that all travelers obtain appropriate travel and medical insurance prior to departure.
Unless specifically stated in writing, travel insurance is not included in the package cost.
Travelers are responsible for evaluating their insurance requirements.
10. Luggage and Personal Belongings
Travelers are responsible for safeguarding their luggage, valuables, documents, and personal belongings.
KalpYatra shall not be liable for:

Theft

Damage

Delay in baggage delivery
whether occurring during transportation, accommodation, or pilgrimage activities.
11. Third-Party Services
KalpYatra acts as a planner, coordinator, facilitator, or intermediary for various travel-related services.
Hotels, transport providers, airlines, guides, helicopter operators, and other service providers operate independently.
KalpYatra shall not be responsible for:

While KalpYatra makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of destination information, travel guidance, itineraries, and pilgrimage details, such information may change without notice.
Travelers should independently verify critical travel information before departure.
KalpYatra does not guarantee that all information will remain continuously updated.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KalpYatra shall not be liable for:

At KalpYatra, we understand that travel plans may change due to personal, medical, operational, or unforeseen circumstances.
This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms governing cancellations, modifications, refunds, and related matters for services booked through KalpYatra.
By making a booking with KalpYatra, you agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
a) Cancellation by Traveler
If you wish to cancel your booking, a written cancellation request must be submitted through:

The date on which the cancellation request is received will determine applicable cancellation charges.
b) Standard Cancellation Charges
Unless otherwise specified in writing for a particular package, the following cancellation charges may apply:

15 to 30 days before departure
Up to 25% of the total booking amount may be retained.
7 to 14 days before departure
Up to 50% of the total booking amount may be retained.
Less than 7 days before departure
Up to 100% of the booking amount may be retained.
No Show
No refund shall be payable.
c) Non-Refundable Components
The following expenses may be non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing:

d) Partial Utilization of Services
No refund shall be provided for:

Missed transportation

Unused meals

Missed darshan arrangements

Early departure from the tour

Voluntary abandonment of the itinerary
Unused portions of the package are generally non-refundable.
e) Modifications and Rescheduling
Requests to modify travel dates, destinations, passenger names, accommodations, or other booking details shall be subject to:

Applicable charges
KalpYatra cannot guarantee that modification requests can be accommodated.
Any additional costs arising from modifications shall be borne by the traveler.
f) Cancellation by KalpYatra
KalpYatra reserves the right to cancel, postpone, modify, or reschedule a tour due to:

Safety concerns

Regulatory restrictions

Force majeure events
In such cases, travelers may be offered:

Refund of recoverable amounts received by KalpYatra
Refunds shall exclude any non-recoverable payments already made to third-party suppliers.
g) Force Majeure
No refunds, compensation, or liability shall arise for cancellations, interruptions, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

KalpYatra will make reasonable efforts to assist travelers under such circumstances but cannot guarantee refunds from third-party providers.
h) Medical and Personal Emergencies
Cancellation due to personal emergencies, illness, injury, family situations, or other personal circumstances shall be treated as traveler-initiated cancellations.
Refund eligibility shall be determined in accordance with the applicable cancellation schedule and supplier policies.
Travel insurance may provide coverage for certain circumstances, subject to policy terms.
i) Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved:

Refunds shall be processed through the original mode of payment whenever possible.

Processing may take approximately 7–30 business days depending on banks, payment gateways, and suppliers.

Banking charges, payment gateway charges, currency conversion fees, and supplier deductions may be deducted where applicable.
j) Travel Insurance Recommendation
KalpYatra strongly recommends that travelers purchase suitable travel and medical insurance before departure.
Travel insurance may help protect against:

Other unforeseen events
Unless specifically stated, travel insurance is not included in package pricing.
k) Dispute Resolution
